Talk about having an identity crisis.
I'm completely confused, or should I say the person that wrote this ad is confused. I don't know what truck he's describing but it sure isn't the one in the pictures. First he says it's a F**d then a Chevy, but it looks like a GMC with a Chrysler engine, though he says it's a 5.7. Do you think he'll get his asking price?

Re: Talk about having an identity crisis.
Looks to be about a 1957 chrysler hemi 392 ,( maybe 354 also ) with stock rochester 2 barrel carb, and I beleive stock intake, pulleys don`t line up either, looks as if the cleaner up against the heaterbox. Push button torque flite trans,,,(buttons under dash)..

Re: Talk about having an identity crisis.
If he ever get's his asking price it will be from someone with more money than good sense or a person that is just plane dumb. I looked the ad up i guess it's not listed anymore it was listed the 28th of June must be last year. It may be possible to find someone as smart as the guy who listed it slim & none...Vernski

I'd pay 16k all day long!
I don't mind the hemi (if it actually fit) What do you mean? That alternator belt fits perfectly

Re: Talk about having an identity crisis.
Maybe the June date was a joke, and it was really posted on April 1st! Almost looks a case study to be used in training somebody on how to submit a stupid ad. I never knew Ford produced a C10. Nice catch on the bad pulley alignment Rich 5150. My favorite detail being the hubcaps, those babies look really cool. At least now I know a hemi can be stuffed in one of these. Probably very entertaining trying to remove that passenger side valve cover.

Re: Talk about having an identity crisis.
Now if that was a 392 hemi complete, its worth $3,000 to most all mopar people that are looking, but that means all you have left is a C10fordgmcchevy without hubcaps for $13,000 with a push button torque flite...
