That was a really good looking truck.
The vintage wheels were a great touch.
The wheels and the truck just seem to go together.

I know the feeling. I sold my 66 Chevelle about 17 years ago. I still see it at local car shows. It makes my stomach turn when I do. Funny thing is, I couldn't afford to buy it back now. Oh well, it's time for you to find another project to take your mind off it.

I am a victim of the same thing as I do not fall in love with cars/truck/motorcycles but as of lately I am starting to think the dozens of vehicl;es I have had that I would like to own today but oh well on the next one...It also helps that I am in the car business so I think of them as $$$$$.

Hey Jeff, that sure would be like losing an old friend. Are you going to build something else right away or take a break from the oldies for a while?

unfortunately for me, i falll in love with the truck or car. After spending so much time, frustration, joy when things workout, knuckles busted i cant just sell her off.
It is money i understand that, but after getting it looking and running good, it's always a shame to sell it.

Justin is determined to find a decent '72 Torino Fastback. I know... A FURRD, but I do agree with him, I like them for the most part, just not as much as he does. So we are on the hunt for one.

This buyer was different than any other I've ever seen. He replied TEN MINUTES after I posted it on Craigslist. I called him, he said "send a few more pics, i'm sure I'll take it". Two days later he pulls up, looks at the rust under the cab I told him about up front, listened to it fire up and handed over the cash. He didn't even do a walk around the truck, drive it or anything.

Then he spots the '68 sticking out of the shed. "how much you want for that"? I replied, oh man, I was afraid you would ask that. It's got even more sentimental ties as I bought it when I was 15, it's a shortbox, and it's in better shape with a bunch of fresh mechanicals done last year. "So how much"? I shot him a price that I thought was on the high side of too much without getting dumb crazy- and he says "I'd give ya that".

It is very tempting to sell it. Even more so now that I found a sweet '66 Buick Special I'm drooling over. And it is priced right, leaving some cash to put towards justin's Torino.

What to do, what to do

Maybe you can Photoshop a member's truck in front of it, that would be sweet.

Here's a few pics of the Buick I found. Rust free Idaho car.

I bought a new Skylark Gran Sport in '65. It was the same color Red as that one, with a White interior. Man I loved that car...
