they are wagon wheels off of a 73 chevy. the tire size is 31.10-15 will they fit on my half ton or not?

Need more info. Is your truck a 2x4 or a 4x4? Did the wheels come off a half-ton? Did they come off a 4x4 or 2x4?

I'm running 31.10R15's on my 78 with no problem. 2WD half-ton.

Ya x2 the tires should fit fine just need to know what rims you got and what kind of truck your putting them on

the tires and rims are from a gmc sierra from 73 it was a half ton 5 lug.
mine is a 79 gmc sierra grande half ton with 5 lugs. somebody told me not to use them as they are wider than the stock wheels and would rub in the wheel wells so i need a opinion both trucks are 2wd.

^^^ Yes they will fit as far as bolt pattern. Now as far as if it will rub or not, that depends on the rim width, rim offset and such. My '76 2wd Blazer has 15x8" wheels with 31x10.50r15's on it, but it has been lifted slightly. Simplest way to confirm fitment is to bolt one up on the front and pull forwards and back slightly to get the suspension to settle and then turn lock to lock a few times. If you can't do that, post up the backspacing and width on the wheel. If nothing else, post a pic. A lot can be told from a picture.
