Re: First car show today......
Well RATIKLE was Beat out by a 1972 Oldsmobile.
I've attached a picture of my "competition"...(**cough**). This thing is one of those Jacked Up On All 4's, with 24" Wheels, "Donks" I think they call them. Boom....Boom Stereo, had chips in the Paint (down to the Bondo). I'd estimate at the Height of the Show there were about 125 Vehicles there. Aside from that, it was great fun! It was the first Car Show EVER, for this City. Beautiful Park across the Street from the Biggest Natuaral Lake in California, (or so they say). Temps in the 70's with a Lake Breeze. My Face is RED as a Tomatoes, from the Sun!!! Got to see/meet new faces in the local Car Club circuit and made some new contacts. Great Vendors, Pin-up Girl Contest (see my other post for a picture of this). About 6 years ago, I gad tried a "Deep Fried Twinkie" at a local Fair, and have had a hankerin' for one, since then. They also had a Fried Twinkie Vendor at the Car Show! Deep Fried Twinkie with Chocolate Syrup and whip cream! (Did I mention I'm a Type 1 Diabetic)..... Loved every Bite of it!

It depends on what type of Browser your using. The software used to creat my Webpages, is pretty much "Internet Explorer" eclusive and it's easy to use. As for the judging, I'm cutting them some slack. It was their 1st Show ever, and the Classes were pretty Generic, going from 1920's thru 1979's with a "Stock and Modified" for each class. No "Under Construction Class". they grouped EVERYTHING together, Cars, Trucks. I think they should have seperated those 2 classes and added an Under Construction. They'll learn because I'm gonna apply to be on the Commitee for NEXT YEARS Show! ;0)
