steering column

will an 84 steering column from a burb fit in my 80 3/4 ton? It has a tilt. should be worth the upgrade. Yes?

i dont c why not i have a 83 tilt from a burb in my 81 cant be any diffrent

if you can put your stuff on it yes..... 80 and 84 wiring different and they started adding stuff to the turn signal... if you can innergreat your turn signal switch and what ever else then yes

You will need to swap harnesses as the 84 column has the switch for the wipers as 80 were on the dash.Best thing is to look for a 83 n down column ..

I was thinking of just leaving the wiper stuff on the dash and using an adaptor to connect the signals?

you can locate a j/y column or a column from ebay n have it rebuilt.Be something to think about..

p.s. thats what i did i located a 82 gmc high sierra non cruise tilt column for 50.00 n had it rebuilt..
