windshield replacement
I have a '63 and have been looking up prices from venders and on ebay. Pretty much at least double compared to a '64. I just checked Safelite auto glass. The '63 is only $274 installed, the '64 is $224 installed. Guess it is no big deal after all.

Re: windshield replacement
Just beware if you try and save money by doing the labor yourself that the 60-63 ones are pretty nerve wracking to install. I can do a 64 and newer windshield while eating a pizza and sending a text on my cell phone, but the wrap around ones make me need to drink.

Re: windshield replacement
What he said. I had them install the one on my 60 after reading the horror stories here, and from my brother (he runs a body shop, and was gonna install it for me). They are so expensive from most the vendors, that the price I got was pretty close to what just the windshield would have costed me. I got it installed for $230.
