1989 avalanche???
here my build it was a gas suburban so far I put in a diesel and chopped it after I finish the body I'm building bumpers a roof rack with lights an air bag lift with 37"s

Here is one I found on craigslist.. Obvious not quite the same as what you are doing and not a great pic, but maybe it will be some motivation.
 He even kept the barn style rear doors.
