Re: 3inch drop blocks kit
all i could find was guys using 2 inch blocks so i made some out of 3 inch square tubing 3/8ths inch wall cut iinto 7 inch sections. boxed it in using 1/4 inch flat iron and used a 3/4 inch bit in the drill press to make the holes. there pretty sturdy.. weigh about 5 pds a piece. got them put in the truck today using the original u bolts. just put em in upside down and left the shock plate dragging for now. on payday ill get the 13 inch 5/8ths thread bolts i have on order down at the local parts store.

Re: 3inch drop blocks kit
Stick with a 2" block.
Anything bigger will cause scrubline issues. 2" blocks are too tall with 15" rims.

Re: 3inch drop blocks kit
I'm trying to go with tcb1 setup he has 3 inch block setup in rear.
If I can't find a 3 inch kit I'll get a 2 inch kit |

Try a local big rig/semi truck parts house. That's where I get my u-bolts made-to-length. Usually around $35/pair with hardened nuts and washers.

Re: 3inch drop blocks kit
for the sake of everyone's safety on the road, including your own, please don't use anything bigger than 1 1/2" block with a 15" wheel.

This becomes a concern in the event of a flat tire, especially a blow out. The lowest point of your vehicle is no longer your rim, it's the U-bolts. This could cause a potentially dangerous scenerio where you truck is harder to control.
