Suicide doors kits

I was going to go with the bolt on SD kit but the more I think about it I'm leaning towards the weld on kit.

If you are using an SD kit can you post up some pics? Mainly the wishbone or triangulated 4-link. Any input on them would be appreciated.

Thanks guys.

For the same amount of money. Id go with the Porterbuilt setup. They both accomplish the same thing but I just like Porterbuilts stuff more.

You sure you know how much the porterbuilt rear dropmember costs? The weld on kit I'm looking at is less than 1/2 the cost. He makes great kits. I just don't want to spend that much.

DAMN! I didnt realize it was that much more. I figured the front dropmembers were about the same price that the rear would fall inline.

if you are doing all of the welding yourself you might come out good but..... i bought the front DM and than thought i would save money on the back and do it with the fab shop that is use, at $45 an hour for fab work and welding i have way over $1000 more than i could have bought the PB rear DM in and done it all myself and not had to wait on someone else...... if i was doing it over again i would buy the rear DM in a heart beat.... no question what so ever !!!!

Yeah... I'll be doing all the welding with the help of some buddies. Honestly I would choose the SD bolt on 3-link over the PB. I don't want a bag over axle setup.

The DM is well designed and looks great, if i had not already built my frame i would have gone that route but im at a point i cant turn back now but my next one will for sure get it front and back

Make sure you post pics when you get your cross member in and installed

any reason you wouldnt want bag over axle (actually it is on the backside of the axle) just curious, that is the way all of the factory air ride systems are designed ie...chevy tahoe and other products
