How low can you go??

What is the most economical way to slam my truck as low as possible without Air Bags? Obviously, changing the rubbers to low profile on the stock 16.5 , 8 lug wheels. Awaiting your answers, patiently

I beleive 2000 and up, they`ll look just like yours, just slightly lower and smaller diameter, you can probably get them for free from a jeep place thats specializes in jeep lift kit installs...

Re: How low can you go??

This is what it looks like when you cut 2.5 coils up front, I wouldnt suggest cutting more then 1.5 coils if you still want a nice ride, my truck rides like ass upfront, but it looks cool.

Good luck!

Re: How low can you go??

Could you cut 1 coil up front and pair that with drop spindles and come out just right? Spindles are usually included in the brake kits, so it wouldn't add that much to the total for someone who was upgrading the brakes anyway...How is the ride up front if you cut 1 coil?

Re: How low can you go??

Mine were cut already. I don't know how much and I cut one more off just for good measure. It rides like a lowered car, but thats all I have ever had so I don't know the diff.

Re: How low can you go??

Thanks Guys,
I recently got the truck, and I know it's lowered in the back w/ 2" blocks. However, I'm gonna take a leap of faith and start cutting coils until is slammed! Screw the ride, as looks is my #1 priority. Will post pics as soon as I dragging sparks.
