Phoenix CL ad

Why do I have to be in Iraq when things like this pop up?

http://phoenix.craigslist.org/nph/pts/1733669026.html

FYI, this is not my vehicle, nor am I in any way affiliated with the seller.

That being said, somebody needs to nab this thing, soonest. He has done pretty much everything I would want to do to this thing, and it's a shortbed!

(I plan on renewing my board subscription when I have something substantial to post. I'll be home in the middle of June and have been directed by the fiancee to start working on the '68 LWB CST that I call "Spot". She wants to have him carry us to our honeymoon. )

It will certainly be a nice truck when finished. My only thought is, If you are going to spend that much money on new parts why wouldn't you take the thing apart and blast the frame, core support, inner panels, etc and do it right...

Thanks for your service to our country. It isn't perfect but I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. My son goes over in August. Oh, and tell the fiancee she's too cool...

It's funny you mention taking it apart and paying attention to the details.

The fiancee said the same thing when I brought it up during our daily Yahoo Messenger ritual. "Why would he spend all that money and leave rusty frame rails and drum brakes peeking thru those 20's. I don't get it."

Oh, and she wants a '69 Nova for her "fun car".

Thanks for your support!

Re: Phoenix CL ad

Like mentioned pretty sure its a board member....

I bet you would be getting a free truck and labor if you saw the reciepts for the parts that are included.

Truck needs alot of work but its a real good start for a project.
