C'mon man that's not really a fair statement. For some one with your fab skills it might not be hard, but for average Joe backyard builder it's a big job to tackle. I'm just saying....

I guess that is true, it's all relative to your skill level. When I did my passenger door, I had never done this before so it took about 15 hours total to get it finished. I expect the driver side will be about half that time.

If you aren't a good fab person then you may need to leave it to a shop to handle it but from what I have seen they usually charge around $1,000 a door

Re: suicide doors

I have them on mine. This is the 1st time I have ever tried this and the passenger door took a while but the driver door went much smoother and quicker. I can't say they are 100% perfect but they look damn good and no sag and so far no pop open while going down the road. Here is an early picture before I put everything back together, I've been wanting to get some more pics of it, hopefully soon.

Re: suicide doors

yea, that was one of my projects over the winter but the weather sucked so bad thats all I finished. I also shaved the doors and fenders while they were off. I get some strang looks at the store when I open the door. I finally rebuilt my compressor so I'm back on the until I get the engine driven installed.
