Finished my "Interior Makeover"

This all started about a year ago after buying a nice recovered seat from 72 Iron Mike...at the time I had a nice 72 white 1 ton that I thought the saddle seat would look great in. Things changed and I sold that truck and ended up finding a rust free 71 K-10 that had a really out dated interior...I had planned on going with a black interior in this truck since it was black but that dang seat was in my way! so....I had no choice!
I now need some opinions...I had planned on keeping the black carpet since it was new but I'm thinking now that maybe I need to go with the brown??

Before

After

I think it has good contrast with the black carpet in it. Looks great!

Looks great. I would do the brown carpet if it was mine. I can't believe how great that brown interior looks with the black paint. Very nice.

WOW! To be honest BLAZERMAN brown has never been a favorite color of mine...but your interior rocks. Congrats on a very nice looking interior.

Talking Re: Finished my "Interior Makeover"

Defiantly,
keep the black. The brown will make it look washed out with no color contrasts.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: Finished my "Interior Makeover"

Hey Rob,

I vote for the black also. A few years down the road when the black starts to fray and bleach out from the sun you can try the brown...

Re: Finished my "Interior Makeover"

I like it the way it is as well....the black is a good contrast to the seat and ties it in with the truck.

Re: Finished my "Interior Makeover"

Thanks for all the compliments and suggestions guys! looks like I will stay with the black for awhile.
Did notice something funny the other day on this truck...I knew it had the cab replaced, but this was replaced with a low hump cab and still has the low hump! ..evidently you dont have to have a high hump in a 4x4..at least with an auto setup. I'm sure a 4 speed would require the use of a high hump.
