What did you and your square body do today?
So hopefully this can be an on-going thread to discuss your latest trip in your square body or what you did on your square body today.
Today we installed a keyless door lock unit on our '87. It works great. My son and I took it for a drive and then washed it. I think we'll install shackles tomorrow to level it out. What about you? |

i lowered my truck in the back (4 inches) then took it to go get lunch today rides good on the freeway now cant wait to get my spindles!

re-ran the wiring for my sweet system up high on the hump and wiped most of the water off my uncarpeted floor since it rained last night and parking under the tree did nothing to aid the leak. i havent found the time yet to fix the rust hole under my wiper motor. yesterday finally fixed my rockers, but i think i should have fixed the hole first.

changed fuel pump ,,, then went to the cruise in on main street in town ,,,, only saw 3 squares there ...

Found my MSD box, related wiring, coil & took engine pix so I can prepare to remove the stock TBI, intake, distributor & such to change to a conventional carb/intake MSD/HEI style dist.

Rained all day so the truck stayed under the carport.. made a cruise-in last night though. Cooked for the family today.

Tried to fix the exhaust leak on the passenger side manifold. Got new gaskets in there...and it leaks even worse now! Ugh. It seals better without ANY gaskets.
Frustrated, but not going to worry to worry about it, since I'm putting a 6.0L in it sometime in the (relatively) near future. |

this has been a bad weekend. Worked sat day. came home and ac on the house is not working. Went too a family dinner we had planned, the cherokee decided to break down when we were leaving dinner. ac guy came out today and said I need a new unit =(

Installed shackles to try to level the kids truck a little. Still needs a bit more in the back.

changed out another fuel pump .. still not pumping fuel .. hope i find problem toward tank and not a lobe on cam .....

I went to the pickNpull and got rear window, rear speakers w/bracket and some trim pieces thanks to a clean 87 red/cream longbed. It was pouring all weekend but I really need a back window so I can take the sleepercab of my dually.

No I had my hands full and it was pouring. But now that I know everyone is looking for a good tailgate band I will keep my eyes open for them. I would have like to get both electric powered doors and maybe the stock gauges and radio. I was like a kid in the candy store.

Went and picked up a new fiberglass porch column and parts needed to install. Old ones made of wood with finger joints and its comin apart.

Hopefully, I'll have time to adjust the rocker arms again. I have one too tight. I need to reset the timing, and adjust the carb. My truck is in the garage with two full tanks of fuel!! AAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!
