Re: delux steering wheel

same as 59-60 belair, similar to 58 biscayne but the 58 had a full horn ring wheras the 59-60 had a half one... wheel itself might be the same 58-59-60.

Re: delux steering wheel

The chrome horn ring & the center lense on the cars are different than the chrome horn ring & center lense on the trucks of the same years.

Re: delux steering wheel

as far as I can tell 59-60 belair are exactly the same as the truck.
59 and 60 biscayne have the same wheel, but no horn ring, they just have a button, like the 58 delray wheel in the post below.
here is the original wheel in my 59 belair 4 door sedan.

Re: delux steering wheel

58 biscayne , and delray wheels:
biscayne: full ring, center cap all cast metal- different than 59-60, and truck 60-65 deluxe, wheel the same.
delray: no horn ring, just a center cap, still different , wheel the same.

Re: delux steering wheel

I have seen many listed on eBay, that say "Bel-Aire, but the same for the '60-'65 Chevy trucks", and they are never the same wheel, horn ring and center cover. Thanks for all the photos and references. This information is very helpful. I guess it doesn't matter what the description says...the photo tells the story. Thanks again for sharing.

Re: delux steering wheel

59-60 El Camino wheel is also the same as the 60-65 Truck Deluxe wheel. The 66 truck deluxe wheel has a round center button.
Here is the correct part kit for the spring and contact from Eckler's for the 60-65 truck Deluxe wheel.
http://www.lategreatchevy.com/produc...dept%5Fid=1714

The round button 66 truck wheel should be the same as a 66 Nova.
