just recently bought a 67 c10 with the front drum brakes. want to convert to front discs. have a set of 71/72 OEM front spindles. will they mount up to the 67 control arms properly? Just use 71/72 ball joints, tierod ends, rotors, hoses, calipers, right?

Re: question about converting front disc brakes on 67 c10
Yes I pressed some 71 balloints (top and bottom) into my control arms, and used the 71 steering assy. and added new tie rod ends also. Then used some braided hoses I got from...ECE I think, inline tube made them. They were conversion hoses, just over 100$. You could also get rubber oem style for cheaper. Good luck any ? Just ask. You also need a 71 MC and prop. valve..

You need a 71-72 centerlink too.

Re: question about converting front disc brakes on 67 c10
If you do not use the 71-72 centerlink, you will need to use different inner tie rod ends.
