Changing head gaskets references

I've got the white smoke/milky oil/decreasing fluid in radiator going for me and I was wondering if anyone had any links to good resources on replacing head gaskets.. Stuff like steps for pulling the distributer and torque specs on all the bolts. Also a list of any specialty tools I will need (torque wrench timing light?? etc..) I've done some searches on google and can't find anything specific. It is a 94 model 5.7L but it is carb'd in my '68

Thanks guys.
