Got my new seats!!!

I also got the matching center console from another auction, the one for a 2001-2003 suburban. All I'm looking for know is the 3rd row seat from a 2001-2003 Suburban (Leather) and my interior will be complete. I can't wait!!! I going to be busy this coming summer. Has anyone ever wired up any of these style of seats. If so is it difficult. Thanks!!! |

Nice seats! You'll have to rig up some kind of brackets to mount them but it definitely can be done. Have fun!!

Take some pics of the mounting brackets you use for us guys needing to fab things in
 On the power seats you would just ground it and run a power wire I would think.

Really nice seats I like the fact the seat belts are built in. The ones in our truck suck!!!!!
 I cant wait to get my seats but Ill have to get new seat belts sewed up like Swervin did.

I won't have to fab anything up. The floor boards on my 2wd Jimmy are flat & the Brackets that came on the seats are flat also. I might have to drill some knew holes but thats about it.

The stock ones are reinforced. If you do drill new ones use some LARGE diameter washers on the backside for safety. (so the bolt/nut won't tear through the floor in case of an accident.

Captkaos, Great shots! Very informative. I've got a 75 Blazer that will need new seats. I'm not sure whether to go back with OEM style seats, or try to upgrade into the 90's style.
I like the Blue color also... Is that new paint? What color is it? My truck is green, and I'm going with a color change... I like the new Vette Electron Blue Metallic... It seems very similar to a color they had in the late 60's. It's a bit lighter than the recent blue's chevy been cranking out on trucks. Anyhow, the lesson was extremely valuable!
