I have a 2000 2500 etra cab. I need to remove the cab window. how are these held in. is it just glued? there was 3 screws in the frame pinching it to the body but its not budging. It needs to come out so i can repair dents and repaint.

If Im thinking right theres a rope type seal in there kind of like a tarr strip. Get a putty knife and work it around the edge while pushing out. As long as the nuts are off it will come out. If that wont work its urethane glued in, get a razor and use it like mentioned with the putty knife. Good luck!
