If you have the time - bend your own. But keep in mind the fact that if you screw a couple up (which I know I would) it can get pricey. Personally, when I do it, I'll get the pre-bent lines.

answer these questions first??

do you think you can do a neat clean job? what type of truck are you building??? do you really care how the look or just about the safety of them...

personally with some good measurements you can build your own pretty easy....and have the pride of DIY

i've always done my own, i assume your flaring your own too? i always before i start on the new lines, practice on any old ones i have that arent totally gone, so i can get "back in the groove" as i don't do this every day lol. patience is the biggest part. good luck!

Re: to go pre-bent or buy and bend

For me, I choose to bend my own lines. (brake lines). Buy the right tools for putting the double flares on the ends of the lines. I have done this before and only used single flare only to have those leak as soon as you step on the pedel.

Re: to go pre-bent or buy and bend

I'm def a beginner and bent my own, they don't look very pretty but its was half the cost of buying pre-bent and I screwed up alot. also I learned a new skill.

Re: to go pre-bent or buy and bend

if you do your own get top quality tools they last a lifetime and r worth the extra money// RIGID makes awesome flaring tools// there are also different quality brake lines, there a newer type of steel line that i ferget its name but is far easier to flare than the older steel lines

start by doing the longest pieces first// if you screw them up you can cut and reuse them for the short runs
