Good news about my tranny
I couldn't get the tranny cover to pop of my 465 4 speed - so I took it by a good tranny shop (Chance and Sons) in town and of course it just took a little know-how to get it to pop right off. Dave peered in and said it is in excellent condition gear wise. He noted a little clip was missing so he kept the tranny and will get that part on today along with one other replaceable part that was worn.
I hadn't seen the insides since I couldn't get the cover off so I am really excited that it is all in good condition! Hopefully will be able to get to the barn tonight and put the tranny and transfer case in the frame.

Buying used stuff is always a crap shoot. But it looks like you hit one. Glad to hear the good news!
