Post hood latch?

Hi, kind of a minor matter but my hood latch on my 77 3/4 is broken. I was looking at an 80 and it was different. what years fit? 77-79? It has a in cab release on it. I get the feeling if I don't get it done soon I'll end up just chaining the hood down . Thanks Guys. CoryM

77-80 are all sharing the same part # on the latch assembly, and hood release assembly..

Quickest way to tell if youre under the hood of an 81-87, is to glance at the hood hinges, the 81-up hinges are bolted to the cab, and recede into the firewall.

The hood latch on the 81-up are set up almost identical to the full size cars of that time period.

Good luck.
