Exterior door handles
Does anyone know how to remove the rod from the exterior door handles, my manual says just to remove the clip but the head of the rod is to big to pass throught the hole? Any ideas.

Re: Exterior door handles
remove the clip from the end of the rod, where it attaches to the door latch mechanism. they are in a bad spot to get at them, but if you use a light and a mirror you will be able to see them. once the rod is off and the bolts are out, press the door handle button and it will come right out!

Re: Exterior door handles
Check out post #6 on this thread. I've got some pics there showing the clip.
