Some years ago there was a site that had prod numbers, I no longer see it, that dosen`t mean that the numbers aren`t out there some where..

do not know about the 64's but in 65 and 66 the production numbers for the short fleetside was in the middle 50's(55,000-57,000 range)that sounds like alot but not when the long bed fleetside numbers were in the 150,000+ range.last year i posted on this site the complete 1965 production numbers for all body style trucks.

the production numbers for exact models from that era are hard to come by for some reason.i have the complete numbers as i said for the 65 trucks,but i have not ran across them from 64.i do know that i have seen the complete numbers from 64,but not broken down into specific models.they did not build as many 64's as they did 65 or 66 trucks.chevrolet was the best selling truck during this era and was number one until the late 70's as i remember the production totals.if i ever run across them from 64 i will post them up.sorry i could not be more specific.
