6.0 gauges

i've just crank my 6.0 in my 87 and now i want to tackle my aftermarket gauges. i have the oil, temp, tach, voltage. how do i make these gauges work?? they are all electric. can i just splice into the sending units (+) side or do i have to come up with the old style sending units?? any help much appreciated thanks
