Sound deadener(air intake)
I have a 1995 chevy ck3500 with a 5.7 liter. I know it is not going to get a lot of performance but a friend of mine was telling me that the front passenger side fender comes from the factory with a lbunch of sound deadener in it and if you take the fender off you can clean it all out and obviously you hear air flow (kind of a whistle) but it will flow more air. anyone out there ever done this? looking for someone to say it is worth the work or it is pain in the @$$ and leave it be

Heard the same thing - subscribed.
I've heard taking a dill bit to the bottom of the airbox would improve performance too, but I don't really think my V6 needs more air than the V8 airbox supplies.
