Better compressor??

Hey guys i currently run dual dc 7500 compressors which suck butt imo and wanting to upgrade to something better so my question is which would be better as far as faster fill time, better performance, and anything you guys might want to add. My choices are between dual viair 480's or a air zenith ob2? The dual 480's are the same price as a single air zenith.

Re: Better compressor??

Try out the Viair 444 combo. They have the same CFM rating, same 200psi, and same 100% duty as the Viair 480's. But they are the same price as the Viair 380's. So it's a win, win.

Re: Better compressor??

It's a new compressor that they made a limited run of. Also, it does not come with a pressure switch or relays like the 380's or 480's do. But if you are replacing what you already have. Then most likely you already have a pressure switch.

Re: Better compressor??

Get the Viairs from one of our fantasic site vendors.
They will hook you up.
I heard those were decent comps actually. Do you have the juice to power those dc's?

Re: Better compressor??

Yeah the next day after I got them I upgraded to a 200 amp alternator and a yellow top optima battery. I guess what I don't like about the dc 7500 is that they are loud as hell, big as hell, vibrate the whole truck and pull a butt load of amps!!

Go with an EDC then.
My viair are loud at times, but not unbearable.
