400 Trans

I pulled the motor and trans out of my old work truck body was to rusted,so it's going to truck grave yard. Anywho, the trans is rebuilt , has roughly 50,000 miles on it since rebuild. It has the normal road crud still on it. I like to get 250.00 out of it. torque converter back. trans still pulled good, like said the truck was getting to far gone. so decided to pull my crate motor and trans out . I have a use for the motor but not the trans. I really don't have the room to store it. So its up for sale. make an offer if your interested.
I'll try to get pics later, I would prefer a local pick up. shipping cost be solely on the buyer. I'll help to an extent.
Post here in the thread, NO PM's . And first one with the money gets it.

Re: 400 Trans

Well I've got 140+ veiwers no comments opinions or offers. So is my price out of reason. Pics I know don't do it justice but If I sprayed it off/ cleaned it up people would think I'm trying to hide something. I open for trades also. Or is the location a problem? I have it lested elsewhere so opinions on how I should advertise it would help me also.

The driveshaft yoke is bolted to the output shaft so yes it goes with the tranny.

Well,my zip is 37617 , I mapquested Mascot, I'm about a hour and half from Pigeon forge. Bristol Motor speedway is roughly 10 minutes from me. Does that give you a good idea of where I'm located.

I wasn't trying to sell anything? I was asking if Barry had a kickdown switch or the wiring that would've been used with this transmission.

Ok...the way it was stated could be taken as a "WTB" statement. All is cool. Thanks for clarifying it for me.
