For the 6.0L swap guys

What is a fair price to pay for the engine and/or trans.? I know the prices will be different for the 4l60/4l65/4l80, but I am curious of the ballpark in getting into (or thinking of getting in). I have found a lq9 6.0L on cl for 700. The ad never said if the whole injection system was there, or if it had the ecu. I will try to post a link to the ad (and if someone in the central valley goes and grabs it, let me know how it turns out). Here is the ad, but the pics never worked in the original ad either. Anyhoo, what do you all think? I spoke to the local wrecker, and he said it would be just under 2k for the whole entire engine/trans. (all harnesses, sensors, etc.) every piece as it came out it sounds like.

Re: For the 6.0L swap guys

most places i checked on want around $2200-2600 shipped for a 6.0L/trans, with all stuff necessary to do the swap, with really low mileage being like 20k-40k miles

the 5.3 combo's are about $400 less, but thats just from what i've found

$700 sounds good for a LQ4 or a LQ9 6,0. I paid $1500 for my engine, trans, harness, ecu, accessories, etc...

Re: For the 6.0L swap guys

LKQ in Central Cali has 2005 6.0 , w/o accesories, pcm or harness for $1850, probably low mileage but doesnt say.

5.3's there start around 675.00 with same as above. call them to see what package deal they will do.

Sounds like a good deal for an LQ9. I can't even get a bare long block for under $1500 up here.
