My 1987 GMC Wrangler
Hey guys, I have got a Canadian 1987 GMC Wrangler, only ever produced in Canada. Its all orginal, except duals.
1987 GMC Wrangler 305 TBI/TH400 Duals- Flowmaster 40's Have not done much to her. A really good cleaning was due when i bought it, oil spray everwhere. Stupid looking checker plate runners. Busted up mirrors. Tattered and faded grill. I got new mirrors, removed the runners cleaned up all the oil spray on the paint, but left it everywhere else. New tail light lenses. Mint grill from the wrecker(surprised to find it) Future plans include sport bumper from LMC(Any good?) along with brackets and such. A tailgate band.... if i can everfind one(still searching/help?). A good buff and wax. In the long term... Engine rebuild/Lowered?/Rims. Purrs like a kitten and rides just as good as my 2010 Ranger. Lovin every min of it. Wanted one for as long as i can remember, since i was a kid even. Just love the body style of the '72-87. I just joined the forum, and it is proving to be a great help.

Re: My 1987 GMC Wrangler
Thanks... tryin to keep it as close to stock as possible. Besides duals, it will remain true to its wrangler routes.

Looks like a cool truck. I like the color combo. You guys got a lot of cool limited edition squares up there. I look forward to seeing this truck progress.

Re: My 1987 GMC Wrangler
Ah man gotta love those wranglers, probably one of the best paint schemes ever put on the squarebodies. Its too bad that it is starting to get rare to see one on the highways.

Re: My 1987 GMC Wrangler
Hey guys... a little update. Just got my sport bumper and got it put on. NOS GM bumper and brackets. Along with the lense light, and white GMC lettering. Don't know if it original, being white.. but i think it looks good. Also the bottom 2 are when i first got her. I finally found them. Let me know what you think.

Re: My 1987 GMC Wrangler
That looks a lot more better. Like the lettering, too.

Re: My 1987 GMC Wrangler
Hi, I just got my 87 Wrangler. My Dad drove it regularly until a couple years ago. He had it parked for a couple years and decided it was time to pass it on. So far I've just pulled it out of the weeds, washed it and taken it to a shop to get safety inspected. Hope it looks as good as your one day.
