Hooker Headers 2817HKR? - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Anybody running 2817HKR headers? I run across a clean used set and since I'm over budget on my motor build I thought I might give them a try (I was hoping to buy Sanderson BB8's or Hooker 2455). I did a search and found somebody that didn't have the best luck with the 2817's on a 71 4x4.

Looking on Jegs site they are a lot higher priced than the 2455's, I'm assuming it's due to the fact that hooker makes a lot more of the 2455's.

Pickup is a 2wd bbc. Any feedback would be appreciated.

2455's work for me

Thanks AirMale, your pickup has caught my eye before and that's what got me thinking about the 2455's. After doing a little more research it looks like the 2817's are for 4x4 applications. I'll hold out for BB8's or 2455's.
