Unhappy Tires

Trying to find some tires in these sizes. 275-60-17 and 255-60-17.
Not having much luck. Goodyear GTll's are on backorder and nobody seems to know if goodyear is going to make them. What are all you guys running. Any suggestions?

Re: Tires

www.tirerack.com they list at least 5different manufacturers of those tires, i'd say they're pretty common and if you cant find them youre not lookin very hard
just google "tires"{ with your size there's all the selection you can imagine

Re: Tires

Discount tire.com has the 275/60/17, But they don't have 255/60/17.

Re: Tires

I have looked at all these websites. If you look at tirerack.com you will notice that they are on BACKORDER and same with every other place you mention.
Goodyear GT ll's 255-60-17 thats what i'm looking for.

Re: Tires

Try tires-easy.com

I bought two tires for my wife's Journey. They were half the price quoted at the tire store, and it only cost $38 to ship them UPS.

Re: Tires

Toyo Proxes STII TOYO I'm pretty sure they're the only company left making them. Not too many places can get them, but if you keep searching, you will eventually find them. Check with Newstalgia

I wouldn't run Goodyear tires if they were free. JUNK!!!

Re: Tires

I'll 2nd the vote on Toyo's but I like the tread pattern on the ST's better than the St-II. I run 255/60R17's front and 285/60R17's rear.

Re: Tires

I know this is an old thread but the topic is still viable. I was looking at a pic of your truck and am wondering what are the drop specs and what front and rear tire sizes you decided to go with.
