Re: Stainless Steel Mirrors
I bought the LMC mirrors for my 86 and the bolt holes didn't line up with the holes on the door. I Had to make the holes bigger to fit. Other than that, 1 year and still clean.

Re: Stainless Steel Mirrors
We used to sell that Junk. No matter where you buy them they are cheaply made. The best thing to do is to buy the mirrors (the cheap ones) throw away all the mounting brackets and screws. Find the factory bases and repolish them if needed, and use all the factory backets.. There is a reason they are only $29.95. We can't give them away. They can't even make the gaskets fit correct.

Re: Stainless Steel Mirrors
I found a stainless pair at the flea market for $20.00. I argued the guy down to $5 for the pair. I had a broken passenger glass so I just changed them. The chrome ones suck badly, they might just as well be painted when you put them on, because if they aren't stainless, they will rust.

Re: Stainless Steel Mirrors
The LMC mirrors I got are SS, and they have left and right specific mirrors. They fit well, except the gasket looks crappy, like all the aftermarket mirrors. a set of OE gaskets will not fit them, I tried it. I didnt have dumbos before these so I made the holes myself, so i have no clue how they'll line up to stock dumbo holes. IMO they do have the best of the aftermarket mirrors though. Just make sure not to get universal left/right mirrors; they won't fit the door curves right.
