Best place to get a steering column.....

I need a tilt column for a 1964 GMC truck........

Floor shift.....

does not need to be top of the line or anything.....

Paintable or polished aluminum/steel would be fine...

where can I get this at for a good price?

Thanks

Chad

Re: Best place to get a steering column.....

I bought an Ididit chrome floorshift tilt column awhile back and it's a very nice piece.I haven't put it in yet,but I've mocked it up and it's gonna be great!Oh and I had them install the optional dimmer switch on the column to...no more stompin on the floor.

CPP sells a very good looking unit for 67-72. Not sure how far off that would be for your application though.

Is that the one he ran the thread for? It was a column shift....otherwise I would have bought one of those.....they look great!!!!

someone asked about a floor shift, and he said they did not make those yet.....

Re: Best place to get a steering column.....

Just wondering if an IDIDIT column would work for my 59 GMC with a 77 nova front clip?
