What about doing the truck arm conversion instead? Much more durable and can both handle well and go very well down the 1/4-mile too. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...postcount=1559 Lots of tire clearance too and there are kits out there to convert the square body trucks over to the truck arm suspension if you don't want to fab up your own kit from a donor truck.

Re: 4 link kit
The search function is not working at the moment so it is a little hard to find what I was going to link for you.
Somewhere towards the end this thread Glock35ipsc started talking about doing the truck arm conversion to his square body. There were some good links and info about the kit and the other ways to do it. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=350986

Re: 4 link kit
If you were 3000 miles closer I would make you a great deal on a complete truck arm setup to use that is on my 67 C10 as I am in the process of converting it into a K10 with a whole different frame.
