Gotta agree, you did a great job on that, very clean, lift is perfect with the tires, tires and rims are perfect. Enjoy it to the fullest!

Awesome job, i'm running rallies also and I think i'll go with the narrower beauty rings after seeing your truck. Again, you did a great job!

It looks great! Is that rear brake line attached to the exhaust pipe though?

No, its on the factory tab. The exhaust pipes dump in front of that brace, but behind the rear axle. Kind of an Illusion from the back.

Lets see, I joined this sight when I bought the truck in oct of 08', drove it to a few bsu football games and started tearing it apart around christmas 08'. So pretty much a year and a half down and now I can drive it again. Maiden voyage was last weekend to the Maverick to fill it up and get some beer. I also went to the dmv to get my registration updated this week and submitted for the classic vehicle plates. I still have several small things to do and I started the stereo last weekend as well.

Re: 72 k-10 progress pics

Matt, that's sweet! Only a year and a half isn't bad at all. I've let mine sit in between stages of its project life for that long!

This is one of my favorite 4x4,s!!!! You realy hit the nail on the head. Classy yet simple. Color stance, wheels all perfect. Congrats on a timeless classic truck! What gear are you running w the 35's?

Re: 72 k-10 progress pics

truck has 3:73 gears.

As for the cowl hood, the fit is horrible in some areas and we fixed what we could without trashing the whole thing. my only sugestion is full mock ups to work out the bad spots. It still doesnt sit good on one edge by the grill. LMC for the hood. I bought soemthing from every known vendor on this truck from classic heartbeat, gmc pauls, lmc, manes, summit, craigslist, guys from this site etc...
