i have not been here in quite awhile and i had to get rid of my truck and everything else as i joined the divorced club and lost everything so starting over at 40 sucks but it is what it is and i am happier then ever

anyway i have a chance to get this truck off my uncle he said he thought it was like a 72 or 73 but i know its older and i can place it only as a 67 or 68 from the hood and fenders and the box

he has a pile of extra parts as well that go with it and its got a 350 that has not been startedin a few years but turns over and not set up

i can buy it for 300.00 and think would make a great project so here is a pic of the one i can get and also a few of my 70 that i spent a lot of time on

is your new 67 lifted? and is that white 60-66 chevy yours?

It's hard to say what year your uncle's truck is. The parts are off many differrent trucks. The fenders have no markers so they appear to be 67, unless someone filled the holes. The cab is a small window so it's a 67. The bed has fenders from a 73+ on it.

thanks man i knew it was older than he thought and i have not looked close at the truck in quite sometime and its obvious it needs a lot of work but from the pics my mom texted me it still looks like the body panels are not all shot

from what u can see there and the fact that there is a ton of extra parts and i belive the engine will still run do u think its worth 300.00

so looks like as of now till i can talk to him more and get better look at it i think i am safe to assume its a 67 with a box change

I started over with a divorce too. Not fun... Got rid of a 1971 El Camino factory SS car... it was a street/strip monster that ran in the 11's.

But... about a year after the divorce, I found my current ride. A 1972 GMC 1500 Super Custom. That was 6 years ago... and I'm again, having fun with a hot rod...

thanks everybody and my uncle has had that thing sitting around for years and never did anything with it and i said what to hell im gonna ask him and to my surprise he said i know its worth more than 300 but for you take it away

so i said that i would come down soon ( after holiday) he lives 4 hours away and take a better look at it im pretty sure im gonna get it it will be a great project

thanks man its bee na little over a year for me and all is well but it makes me sick everytime i look at pics of my other pride and joy i spent 4 years getting to where i wanted it

i know this is a chevy board but this was my 06 mega cab 300 singlr real wheel that took on many gaces before it was finished as a mega cab long bed dually with many gadgets i miss this truck soooooooo much

when i first got it

first face lift

2nd face lift

few things from the inside

3rd face lift( long bed conversion before the dually wheels it was only like this a few days)

new hood

then i decided to customize the front end with the help of a light pole

back together minus the front bumper

and a new front bumper

and one more of the 70 short bed

anyway sorry for all the pics i just miss that truck sooooo much

Thats a good lookin' Mopar dude. Just look towards the future... things WILL get better. Trust me on that one. It will take some time... but time heals a lot of stuff.

You'll have another one (Mopar)...

i hear ya man it sucks for sure but very nice olds here is another of my toys i had to part with

then my two most prize possessions and i miss them more than anything

I can understand the twice divorced and married again, I've done so myself. My current wife is perfect for me. She doesn't particularly like cars, but she fully supports my love of them. My 71 had burned down and I had towed it around with me for a couple of years. Last December she said that it was time I started working on my truck and went and bought a parts truck that I had been looking at, but couldn't bring myself to buy. Sometimes life works out for the best despite what happens to us. Keep your head up and keep working toward your goals. It will get better.
