Weld Prostars on 88' GMC
Ok, I have an 88' GMC Sierra SWB. It has been lowered and I am wanting to put a 15x10 Weld Prostar wheel in the back and a 15x5 in the front. Does anyone know the backspacing i would need for these to fit properly? Thanks

Re: Weld Prostars on 88' GMC
Front wheels on my truck, lowered 2-inches with spindles, are 15x7. The have about 3.5-inches of backspace, maybe 3.25-inches.
My spindles are from DJM. The problem with them is that the lower control arm is contacted by the inside of the rim....not a good thing. Based on what you say your wheel size is, there can't be too much of an issue up front. So, did you test-fit one?

Re: Weld Prostars on 88' GMC
With a 5" wide wheel, I don't think backspacing will ever be any sort of an issue. For the 10" wheels, 6-7" backspacing would be good.
