Mech. Trottle to cable !

Hey guys,

Hope yer holiday weekend in going great..

I have a 1969 4x4 blazer that I am wanting to swap from mechanical throttle linkage to a cable set up. Have any of you done that swap? Any tips, trick and suggested equipment.

I am getting tired of the lurching my truck does sometimes, when the engine torques and it is able to give itself a little throttle.. the o.e linkage has been chopped up from previous owners and I think that adds to it a little...

Any pics or ideas appreciated.

thanks,

Here is another way, showing how to make a DIY mounting plate for the stock 71-72 pivot support.
