temperature sending switch

i replaced all the hoses and flushed the radiator on my 72. thought i would change the sensor as well. went to the local auto parts store and bought one the guage would go straight to hot and stay there. posted something on the board and got a response saying i needed to get a better sensor like the ones eckler's sells. took the advice and did just that and now my guage works fine.

i've said all this to say if you're replacing your temp sending switch get the better one. way worth it.
