straight 6 headers&p/s

I am looking at putting headers on my 250... Do they fit with the stock power steering bracket. Any other options other than getting rid of thepower steering?

If it's the same bracket I've got that mounts to the head and tensions the alternator, then it's pretty meaty. Mine has a cutout for the exhaust manifold mount and I don't think you'd compromise the bracket if you had to trim a bit.

Re: straight 6 headers&p/s

I have an 81 power steering set up with a 67 head...I had to fab up 1 bracket for the alternator, but other than that, nothing had to change...I have Langdon's headers and have no clearance issues.
