Memorial Weekend Misfortunes

-thought I'd start a thread on what we broke, tore up, or blew up enjoying Memorial weekend... I guess I'm trying to feel better about needing a new windshield:

this is what happens when two guys suffering from a mean hangover can't figure out how to release the passenger seat in a 1970 Blazer (sending the seat into the windshield)

any suggestions on where to pick up the glass? (mail order/online companies or salvage or local glass? brands or notes on what to look for are appreciated)

By checking account. I bought a 71 Camaro...
I also met a young (for me) blonde.

Sorry about the windshield mishap. I'll bet that was an oh sh** moment.

I would expect any automotive glass shop would get ya covered on that. Also check what your insurance covers... I have a $50 deductible for windshield glass.. It breaks 50 bones fixes it.

Re: Memorial Weekend Misfortunes

IF you're on a real tight budget for about 35 bucks you can grab one from a JY but in the mean time it almost loks like you could take it to some roadside windshield repair guy and have him seal that one to keep it from getting worse in the heat.

If you don't want to deal with installing one yourself it might be a couple hundred bucks.
