Help me pick a color for project 65 Daily Driver - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I love blue.... out of all the vehicles I have had in my life about 90% of them have been blue... im not a fan of red at all

If those were my only three choices it would have to be blue. Of course my favorite automotive color of all time was 1965 Mustang Twilight Turquoise. Loved that color.

You know I was wondering why were so depressed in the world today. Our daily vehicle colors are dead. Black, Grey, Dark Blue,White. Little chrome. No punch! When you see an old truck from far away the majority of the time it's a bright color. Red's overdone, Flat Black, ( cept yours Markeb01 ) might as well be Goth.
Gold, Copper, anything to brighten things up!

I say gold as well. I rarely see it, and when I have it looks cool. It's classy and understated IMO.

my favorite color is blue...my first truck was indigo blue metallic, & i loved it...then i had a red/silver S-10 Blazer that looked really good...i tend to try & stand out from the crowd though, so anything done tastefully in a different way catches my eye...therefore, i vote gold...but blue would be a close second

I love the gold but you simply can't go wrong with "resale red".

Be it a stocker or a hot rod or anything in between when it comes time to sell red is the one color that seals the deal.

I like two tone colors as long as they are stock, solid colors I like buttercup yellow the most and I like red that's slightly orange tinted like Tonys trucks and I would choose blue third but I think I like green better....Vernski

I completely agree. I sit on the freeway and every car or truck fall into the same colors as you mentioned. Personnally, I love two tone color combinations on 60-66 Chevy trucks. Maybe because I'm old, but I love older classic color combinations on these trucks too. Like 55-57 Chevy passenger car two tone combinations really appeal to me. Just my two cents.

I'll vote for the two tone gold.

I would go with the Gold. Mine has always been blue, Baby Blue from the factory then I painted it Medium Blue in high school. I am now going back to the original color...

When I was planning my truck, before I got it, I was going to go gold but lately I have been thinking of Toyota's bright metalic blue with white roof and white in between the side trim. Here is a nice gold one (not mine , of course).

I've read similar studies before and find them both interesting and reality based. I think it's a big part of our personalities why we migrate to the colors we prefer. Thanks for posting the color chart, and all the other recent additions. You must have an amazing collection.
