heater box

I am going to shave all the holes in my fire wall. Whats the best way to mount the heater box so the bolts don't go through the fire wall?

Re: heater box

Would you be able to weld studs to the inside of your firewall?

Re: heater box

I have a plan to use double ended studs (like manifold studs) all the way through the firewall where the hood hinge bolts normally go. They would serve as hood mounting studs on one side and bracket mounts inside. Thinking of running angle iron all the way across the inside from one stud to the other as a solid mounting point. You'd still have to make some kind of bracket any way you go about it.
