sway bar installation

I just swapped my 67 1/2 ton longbed to front disk and picked up a 1 1/4" sway bar and cut 3/4" of both ends (double measured) to accomodate for the 2600 dominator airbags I installed while swapping hub and control arm assys.. When I mounted the sway bar up with new bushings it doesnt sit equally on the lower control arms. The passenger side is sitting actually juuust inside the bushing mount while the driver side sticks out of the mount about 3/4 of an inch. Am I doing something wrong here that the sway bar isint being centered.
Origionally, as you all know it was a 6 lug drum, converted to a 72 front end. and it origionally had a 7/8" sway bar so I never relocated the mounts on the frame horns. any ideas as to what Im doing wrong here guys?

Re: sway bar installation

Could the swaybar be bent?

Re: sway bar installation

no I dont think so, the truck it came from was pretty babied and it looks real symmetrical Ill match it up to the other one I have and make sure the bends are the same
