Wanted 67 front clip
Hello all!
I'm wanting to convert my 72 front to a 67 front so I'll need a set of fenders, hood, and grill. I'd like for them to be NOS or really nice shape, ie rust and dent free, used pieces. I'm not sure but I think I also need the radiator support and the piece that goes under the grill to the rad support? I live in east TN, but I'd be willing to travel or pay for crate and freight for the right pieces. Thanks! Jim. And if anybody wants to trade...I've got a pristine hood, NOS front bumper and grill, and a set of nice frone fenders off of my 1972. Last edited by Jim_D; 07-16-2010 at 11:12 PM. |

Re: Wanted 67 front clip
I have a great 67/68 hood and great grille, and a 67 NOS hood latch. What color is the 72 hood? Also might be interested in the 72 NOS bumper.

Blountville is near Bristol. I'm about 10 15 minutes from Bristol Motor Speedway.

Re: Wanted 67 front clip
I have a brand new set of "in the box" Goodmark 1967 fenders. I will take a little less than what I paid for them and can probably get them up close to your area. PM me if interested.

Re: Wanted 67 front clip
Jim,
I am not sure of what will interchange, but I just bought a real nice 68 GMC yesterday. Real nice rust free front clip. Complete with fenders, hood, support. Not sure if this works with 67 stuff or if GMC will make a difference. Let me Know....Jay |

Re: Wanted 67 front clip
That 68 GMC front clip is almost exactly the same, the almost part being the marker lights, grill and core support. Core support has the four headlights vs Chevy's two.

I remeber that now. So 68 fenders could be used if you were to fill in the marker light openings and the hood if you filled in the GMC holes. If nothing better shows up drop me a line. Jim, Have you checked with Tom in Phoenix as he may have what you need and Mike (fine69) is going out there soon and could them back for you. Both good guys to work with. |
