Re: dropped trucks

There are a lot of threads on this already. You can find them with the search function. That said, you can see pics of my truck (lowered 2.5/4) by clicking on the link in my signature.

Re: dropped trucks

You asked about body drops? Or do you simply mean lowered trucks. Body drops are quite involved, requires moving the floor in the cab and bed upwards as well as raising the mounting of the core support. Static (suspension) drops are the norm, the easiest, and cheapest. Look around at the site, there are lots of ways to skin a cat! My truck has a static drop, 5.5" front and 7" rear, I have to use great care when pulling in and out of driveways to keep from dragging and or bottoming out the suspension. Here is a pic of mine (20" wheels with 275/45R 20 tires).

Re: dropped trucks

Mine was supposed to be a 3in/4in. But I think the springs in the front dropped a little lower because other that say they have 3 are not as low. At least they don't look to be as low. Any way, here is mine. I did the 3in summit drop springs and 2in shackles and 2in hangers. But if I had to do it over I'd do a flip kit.

Yea I know. But I've already replaced the hangers. If I did the flip kit it be way to low in the rear. I'm thinking of taking the over loads out.
