Burb glass question
I just got a 85 Suburban with a bad engine and really straight body. The price was right.
It is coming out of the shop tomorrow with a new engine and body work is next. The chrome trim around both rear quarter windows looks really bad. I called the glass shop and asked about new tinted windows since mine are clear and they said they have laminate windows tinted that will fit? Are these windows as good as original or would I be better off to put tinting on my clear windows. New gaskets cost $90 from GM and the new laminate windows are $150 so for the price I may just get the tinted windows unless they are not as good. Thanks in advace for any help. Mike

If its the plastic chrome trim like the windshield has LMC sells it by the roll. I'd just get the windows tinted. JMO
