A tired warrior of the 1980s in a world of low profile tires, front wheel drive, and plastic bumpers, where people stay in their houses until snowplows move the offending substance from their paths, too helpless to travel without AAA and chains and salt, clearing their windows with longhandled brushes while gently stepping around in the snow trying to stay nice and dry.

Re: How Many?

I do, is it rare or something? I've never really paid attention to other trucks' antenna's before. Now, I'm curious.

Re: How Many?

I do. Didn't originally, but when I went to my local glass shop to get it replaced, it was all they had. $100.00 installed, I wasn't gonna quibble.

Re: How Many?

I'm here!

...and yes, there is a small button at the base of the windshield, and the antenna wire snaps on that.

Re: How Many?

I think just about all came out with it in the windshield. Lots have been swapped to fender mount, which was more wide spread on the burb's and k5's. I know every one I ever owned I had to swap from glass to fender. Is what happens when you're in the boonies and reception sucks.
