new guy

Hey guys ive been browsing this board for months now and decided to join. I am currently in the process of rebuilding my truck. Yesterday I took the bed off and we are thinking about dropping the truck since we have such easy access to everything. I am looking at doing a 3/5 drop for Wester Chassis seemed like a good price. I will post a pic as soon as I figure out how to. Well looking foward to being on the board thanx. Jon

I agree it's begging for a drop on the rear for sure. Not a lowered truck guy here but that needs a better rake. I think with the 3/5 drop you'll have much better look.

That truck is crying out for a 5/6 drop. Or maybe a 6/6, cause stepsides need a good rake in my opinion. I have a 5/5 on my 78 stepside.
WELCOME!

Welcome Jon. Even if you don't consider it finished it's still a nice looking engine. Are you planning on painting the body the same color?

Im going to keep the truck its original color since it is too much money to change the color. It is apple red solid and I liked the color so I will stick with it. The reason my truck looks realy jacked up is because my drive way is hilly. But the 3/5 is going to be good I think especially when I get 17's.

Welcome aboard. Truck looks like a fun project!! There are plenty of generous Okies on the board if you ever have any fun projects to do. Of course, not as many Okies are there are Texans.
